A Cameroon outline map
One switch sits over the map. Borders removes the lines between the regions and leaves the outline of the country, a sheet to draw towns, rivers or the regions on by hand.
The regions, numbered or named
Numbered and Named put a number or a name on all ten regions. East is the largest shape and West the smallest. Names are in English: Far North for Extrême-Nord, Adamawa for Adamaoua, West for Ouest. Centre is spelled the same in both of the country's official languages.
- Start at the top: Far North, North and Adamawa follow each other down the map. Four small regions sit together in the west.
Questions and answers
How many regions does Cameroon have?
Ten. They were called provinces until 2008, when decrees renamed them regions. All ten are numbered on this map.
Which countries border Cameroon?
Nigeria to the west, Chad to the northeast, the Central African Republic to the east, and the Republic of the Congo, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea to the south. They are drawn as plain land around the outline, without names.
Can I print Cameroon without the region lines?
Yes. Switch Borders off and the sheet prints the outline of the country alone.
What is the capital of Cameroon?
Yaoundé, in the Centre region. Douala, the main economic city, is the capital of the Littoral region.
