Blank, numbered or named

The sheet opens blank. Choose Numbered to put a number on each of the 20 districts and regions of Portugal, or Named for their names, then press Print this map; the answer key prints on its own sheet.

Islands in boxes

The Azores lie about 1,400 km west of the mainland and Madeira about 950 km south-west, so both sit in boxes. Madeira is at the same scale as the mainland; the Azores are drawn smaller. Beja is the largest district.

  • The districts are the list schools and atlases use, although they have had no council of their own since 2011.
