Fifty states and fifty capitals is a long list, so these four quizzes split it by region. Each page draws one region of the United States large, lights up a state and asks two things: which state is this, and what is its capital.

A question counts only when both are right, and missed states come back at the end.

The Midwest, Northeast and West pages follow the regions of the U.S. Census Bureau, with 12, 9 and 13 states. New England is a button on the Northeast page that plays its 6 states on a closer map. The Southeast page opens on the 16 states of the Census South and has buttons for the shorter school lists of 12 and 14. Every page prints as a blank numbered sheet with a key, and every capital was checked on September 19, 2026.
