Blank, numbered or named
The sheet opens blank. Choose Numbered to put a number on each of the 24 provinces of Ecuador, or Named for their names, then press Print this map; the answer key prints on its own sheet.
Coast, mountains and jungle
Pastaza, in the Amazon, is the largest province. The Galápagos lie about 1,000 km out in the Pacific, so the map moves them into a box at the same scale. Santa Elena and Santo Domingo, both from 2007, are the newest. Guayas, on the coast, holds Guayaquil, the largest city.
Print Named and have students shade the three regions: the coast, the Sierra and the Oriente, the Amazon lowlands.
