Missouri on the map

St. Louis City is independent of any county and carries a ring; St. Louis County surrounds it. Texas County, in the Ozarks, is the largest. Its neighbors, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska, are drawn around it without numbers.

  • St. Louis City and St. Louis County are two numbers. Point this out before students label the map.
