How this list was compiled: The 64 features, their names and their outlines come from Natural Earth 5.1.2, the map data credited under the drawing. Each name was compared with the English Wikipedia article for the feature, and every detail line was read in the opening of that article and checked 2026-10-01. Rivers are listed as rivers (Ohio River) where Natural Earth prints the bare name, and the bare name is accepted as a typed answer. Licence: own work

How it works
This blank Canada physical map prints the country's landforms and waters with no province lines: mountain ranges, the Canadian Shield, rivers, lakes, bays and islands. Choose Numbered for a worksheet, or Named for the labeled map.

A blank map of Canada with lakes and rivers
The sheet opens blank. Numbered puts a number on 30 features: 4 rivers, 8 lakes, 3 mountain ranges, 3 islands, and the plains, bays, seas and straits around them. Named writes the names instead. Press Print this map; the answer key prints on a sheet of its own.
What the map leaves off
No province, territory or city is drawn, and the land south of the border is part of the same drawing, so the Great Plains and the Rocky Mountains run on into the United States. Lake Michigan is drawn without a number because it lies entirely in the United States.
The Mackenzie River flows north, from Great Slave Lake to the Arctic Ocean.
Hudson Strait leads from Hudson Bay to the Labrador Sea.
Questions and answers
