How it works
These are the labels for a 3D animal cell project: 13 names to print, cut out and pin to a model you have built. Press Show answer to read a part's job. A second set has 12 labels for a plant cell.

Print, cut out, pin on
Press Print 13 labels for the names alone, on two sheets. Cut the names apart, tape each one to a toothpick and push it in beside its part. If the project also asks what each part does, print the cards instead: the job is on the back.
For an edible animal cell project with labels
Use toothpick flags, so the paper stays off the food. The list under the cards gives one craft material and one food for each part. They are suggestions: anything with a similar shape works.
- Check your teacher's list first. You only need labels for the parts you built.
Questions and answers
Is there an animal cell 3D model with labels PDF?
Yes. Press Print 13 labels, then choose Save as PDF in your browser's print window. The labels take two sheets, printed on one side.
What goes on an edible plant cell model with labels?
Twelve labels: cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, nucleolus, ribosomes, rough ER, smooth ER, Golgi apparatus, mitochondria, chloroplasts and central vacuole. Choose Plant cell under Show only before you print.
Which parts does a plant cell model have that an animal cell model does not?
In these sets: a cell wall, chloroplasts and a large central vacuole. The animal set has lysosomes, centrioles, vesicles and the nuclear envelope instead.
What does ER stand for?
Endoplasmic reticulum, a network of membranes inside the cell. Rough ER has ribosomes on it and smooth ER does not.
