How this list was compiled: Items made on 2026-10-01; names, ids and accepted spellings are Natural Earth's. Which countries are asked follows the list of United Nations member states, https://www.un.org/en/about-us/member-states, read 2026-10-01: 90 of the 102 shapes are member states; the page numbers the 46 of them that are large enough to write on at this scale (the ones the points file does not flag "tiny"). Not member states, drawn and never asked: Faroe Islands, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Isle of Man, Jersey, Kosovo, Macau, Northern Cyprus, Palestine, Taiwan, Vatican City, Åland. The drawing: Drawn for this site from Natural Earth 5.1.2, ne_50m_admin_0_countries_lakes (scale 1:50,000,000), https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvkelso/natural-earth-vector/v5.1.2/geojson/ne_50m_admin_0_countries_lakes.geojson, downloaded 2026-09-19. Lambert azimuthal equal-area projection centred on 45°N 80°E. Outlines simplified; small islands are left out. 13 places are too small to draw at this scale and shown as a dot. How it works

This blank map of Eurasia prints Europe and Asia on one sheet, with every country's border and Russia in one piece. The 46 largest countries can carry a number or a name; the smaller ones are drawn but not numbered.

Print the Eurasia map blank, numbered or named

The sheet opens blank. Choose Numbered and 46 countries get a number to write against, from Russia and China down to Iceland and South Korea; Named writes the names instead. Press Print this map, then Print the answer key for the sheet with the names.

Why the smaller countries have no number

On a map this wide, 44 countries are too small to write on, among them Portugal, the Netherlands, Israel and Singapore. Their borders print on every version. To label those, use the blank map of Europe or of Asia, which draw them larger.

  • Russia is the largest shape, then China, India and Kazakhstan. Have students label those four before anything else.

Questions and answers

What is Eurasia?

Eurasia is the largest continental area on Earth: all of Europe and all of Asia taken together. Some models of the world count it as a single continent.

How many countries are on the map?

Ninety member states of the United Nations are drawn, each with its border, and the 46 largest are numbered. Russia is drawn whole, which a map of Europe or of Asia alone cannot do.

Can I print a Eurasia outline map with no borders?

No. The country borders are part of the drawing and print on every version. Printed blank, the sheet shows the borders and nothing else: no names and no numbers.

Is there a Eurasia map quiz?

Yes. Press Quiz yourself on this map and the page names one of the 46 numbered countries for you to tap. The Northern Eurasia quiz page asks Russia and its fourteen neighbors on this same drawing.

Are disputed borders marked?

Some borders on this map are disputed. Disputed areas are shown but not asked. Only member states of the United Nations carry a number. Kosovo, Taiwan, Palestine and Northern Cyprus are drawn as the map source draws them and are never numbered.
