Words that change with the country
Spanish has no single word for several kitchen things. The drawing shows one of them, and the others count when typed. A countertop is la encimera in Spain, la mesada in Argentina and Uruguay and el mesón in Chile. El lavaplatos is a dishwasher, and in the Andes and Mexico also the kitchen sink.
