How this list was compiled: The 14 municipal corporations of Trinidad (two cities, five boroughs and seven regions) as the ministry responsible for local government lists them (https://rdlg.gov.tt/municipal-corporations/) and as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regions_and_municipalities_of_Trinidad_and_Tobago has them, both read on 2026-10-01. The 15 names are also the 15 codes of ISO 3166-2:TT as Wikipedia prints it (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:TT), which still lists Diego Martin and Siparia as regions. Tobago is one shape; it is governed by the Tobago House of Assembly (https://www.tha.gov.tt/about-the-assembly/). A strip of Venezuela is land at the left edge that is not numbered or asked. Blank, numbered or named

The sheet opens blank. Choose Numbered to put a number on each of the 15 shapes, or Named for their names, then press Print this map. Print the answer key gives the names on a sheet of its own. Switch Borders off for the plain outline of the two islands.

Two islands

Trinidad, the large island, has 14 municipal corporations: two cities, five boroughs and seven regions. Tobago, to the northeast, is one shape. Port of Spain, San Fernando, Arima and Point Fortin are small: on the Numbered sheet a number covers most of each.

  • The double names are written with a hyphen here and often with a slash, as in Tunapuna/Piarco. Either way counts as a right answer.

Questions and answers

How many regions does Trinidad and Tobago have?

Trinidad has 14 municipal corporations: the cities of Port of Spain and San Fernando, five boroughs and seven regions. Tobago is a ward of its own, governed by the Tobago House of Assembly. That makes 15 shapes on this map.

Is this also a blank map of Trinidad?

Yes. Trinidad is the large island on the sheet, with all 14 of its municipal corporations. Tobago stays in the upper right corner, where it lies, northeast of Trinidad.

Which are the boroughs of Trinidad?

Arima, Chaguanas, Diego Martin, Point Fortin and Siparia. Diego Martin and Siparia were regions before, and some lists still call them that.

What is the land at the left edge of the map?

The coast of Venezuela, drawn as plain land without a name. The water between it and Trinidad is the Gulf of Paria. Port of Spain, the capital, stands on that gulf.
