A free blank map of continents and oceans to label
The seven continents are Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America; the five oceans are the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern and Arctic. The map uses the Equal Earth projection, so each keeps its true size.
For world map worksheet answers, print the Named sheet and keep it as the teacher copy; students get the Blank or Numbered sheet.
Questions and answers
What are the 7 continents?
Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. Asia is the largest and Australia the smallest, as the map shows at their true sizes.
What are the 5 oceans?
The Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern and Arctic Oceans. The Pacific is the largest, covering more of the sheet than all the land put together.
Why does the map have no countries?
It is a continents and oceans sheet, so the land is drawn as seven shapes without borders. For countries, print the blank world map instead.
