Farm, Garden and Heavy Machine Parts: Diagrams to Label and Print

One machine per page, a numbered ring on every part, and the name the operator's manual uses for it.

37 pages

Lifting and moving loads 9

Cranes, a chain hoist, a boom lift, a pallet jack, a forklift, and belt and screw conveyors: warehouse and job-site machines whose part names come up in operator and safety classes.

Farm and job-site machines 17

The tractor with hitch, PTO shaft, plow and disc harrow, a combine, then the job site: skid steer, backhoe, wheel loader, bulldozer, cement mixer and drilling rig, and their hydraulics.

Yard, garden and snow 11

Yard and garden tools, such as the lawn mower and its deck, the string trimmer, the tiller, the pressure washer, a pump sprayer, the snow blower and plow, the wheelbarrow, a cider press and a hydroponic system.

Each page here is a line drawing of one working machine with a numbered ring on every part worth naming. Find a part by name, name the ring that lights up, or turn on Study to read what each part does.

More about these tools

Missed parts come back at the end of the round, and every drawing prints blank or labeled.

The machines differ in who needs the names. Forklift, crane and boom lift vocabulary comes up in operator and safety classes. Tractor, combine and plow parts are farm and shop class material. The mower, string trimmer and snow blower pages are for anyone reading an owner's manual with the machine in front of them. Every name was checked against at least two published references on the date the page shows. The drawings teach vocabulary and do not replace operator training.
